It’s that time of year again. I always look forward to the annual RSA Conference. It’s an opportunity for our Lieberman Software team to share with industry peers in the dynamic world of IT security. 2011 can be seen as somewhat of a boiling point for data privacy issues – from insider attacks to the many cyber-attacks and data breaches hitting the headlines on what seemed to be almost a daily basis.

To the point of data breaches and the security threats that continually face enterprises across every industry, I want to take a moment to draw your attention to #ThreatThreadThursday linked at the top of this blog. Each Thursday, our team posts a blog and Tweets using the hash tag #ThreatThreadThursday to bring you the latest in security breach news that affects the future of our industry and the lives of individuals. We encourage those of you who track the IT security space to re-tweet our tweets and post your own tweets relating to the topic, while also using the #ThreatThreadThursday hashtag. Our goal is to continue to build awareness on the security issues plaguing today’s global economy, and help educate enterprises and individuals on how to better manage such challenges.
